@daily don't believe that, and even if they did, prices will not go down, companies will just add that as profit. Seen it before when GST came in and the hidden manufacturer tax was removed. We were told prices would go down, they stayed the same we just paid more when the GST was added
also shell companies buying up multiple properties, driving up prices and now their creditors are looking for the money. and the companies are now putting them back on the market
By "cutting red tape" what they mean is fewer safety inspections, no environmental reviews, and developers can cut what ever corners they want to maximize profits
