If the Ontario Government has this amount of money, there are better ways to use it: How about our Health Care is falling apart, Mental Health Service are very hard to find, affordable Housing etc etc. The should be a vote by the Ontario people on matters of this.

Would of nice if your open was 8:30am, that would allow people that start @ 9:00am to grab a donut & coffee before work. Can wait to try your apple fritter and hope your coffee is great.

How will this funding help those who need rent geared to income? I that is what is need here, not have empty rentals gathering dust when they could be home for some family etc.

Our little green bin goes out weekly with the blue boxes and our 1 clear garbage about once a month. With these new large bin's coming, well we have no place to keep them, esp in the winter when you can barley get the car out of they narrow driveway how the are we going to get these large bins out. Also we can not store them in the garage, no room let alone when the snow comes, not going to dig out large bins. Why can't they just leave is working now?
As I understand here, the clothing/textiles that are to be put out for pick-up (no limit) will be sent out of Orillia? I think I will continue to drop my good used clothing to Orillia's Churches. I do read that "Ripped, torn or unusable clothing and textiles will be collected and recycled" does this mean I can put out all my unusable and textiles for this program? I now bag and tag clothing/textiles that are unusable in which I have lots and lots off. Thank you, now I can put them all out at once, instead of a bit here and there in my garbage!
I just looked it up also. Very Shocking indeed
I have always known that in Ontario you are allowed to have pets. I know quite a few people who have moved in a not pet friendly, then brought in their pets, there was nothing the landlord could do to have them removed.
Now I just have to figure out where to keep the garbage bin. No room in my garage and in winter will not be able to wheel it to the street as have a small long narrow driveway. Guess it will get put out in the spring when the snow goes. I do hope the bin can hold my garbage for the winter.
West St N was also missed. When I called they told me that my pick-up day is Wednesday and across the street their day is Friday. I told the person that I have lived over 20yrs and Friday is my regular pick-up for everything. Agent said hold a minute, then came back and said I was right, something is wrong with what the computer said. Just for luck I will be putting my boxes out for Wednesday if still there, then out for Friday. Better be one I will flip out at them.
