SooToday 124The city should have given her a quote before agreeing to have the work done on her behalf. She had a right to know what the cost would be before the work was done. They could also waive the interest. It's ridiculous that the retaining wall cost that much to begin with so they could have some grace as it's obvious she is trying to pay the bill. The city is taking advantage. She definitely should have to pay something but on the other hand the city makes ridiculous decisions overpaying for properties and then reselling them for peanuts and then expects this woman to overpay for a retaining wall. The city is being unreasonable. Put a payment plan in place and waive the interest.

101I miss how FB was when it first started. When I'd only see posts and pictures from my friends and family. No random posts from groups and organizations I'd never heard of and no news or ads. Just posts of family and friends. Now I can scroll through and see very little from family and friends...
