All Carney did was poke the bear even further as evident after learning of his comments. Like it or not Canada is going to have to make a deal with our southern neighbours or far to many will be unemployed or worse.
So let me get this straight, Porco builds a beautiful station with various other amenities, at the entrance to the international bridge, close to hotels and they move to a gravel train yard in front of Algoma Steel?? WOW!
No way with my tax dollars! The ineptitude of those that negotiated the sale to the first buyers was a disgrace. Don’t let this current “businessman” (sic) dictate what’s going to happen now!!! I’m sure this was his plan all along! Keep taking whatever legal steps can be taken for force his hand to do something desperate!! The city will look like a circus AGAIN if a buyout is secured and I plead with everyone to contact they’re counsellors and make they’re opinions known!!
Come on counsellors, the Sackville extension is LONG overdue and has been debated for probably 3-4 different councils! Quit studying everything to death and making delays. Do you realize how backwards the community appears in the eyes of our peers in other areas of the Province? It’s no wonder we remain stagnant as a population on developement!
