SooToday 14You would think there would be a security check in place for years. But no clapping, booing does council not realize most things they are proposing no one wants. 18 MILLION dollar water front beach when we have beaches all around the city and an out door pool down town. Email your councilor and they may get back to you someday is the new normal. Replacing city trucks for the parks or rinks that do not put to many miles and the older trucks are better. The Station mall that is way over taxed based on their income, classify the mall a community center and lower their tax rate so we can a new owner and get some entertainment for young people. No signs, seems like they are trying project an image but no one is buying. No booing I AM not going, but Shoe Maker is a great mayor.

Northern Ontario is short of builders and of all trades, forest fire management lets teach what we need in the surrounding area. Bringing a medical school on Sault College campus, that would help the future of the Soo not more kids stopping for a few years taking courses that does not help the Soo.

City out millions after Station Mall settles years-long property tax appeal
SooToday 6The city could buy the mall instead of a beach and put year round events in the Sears old space. Put a gym and grocery store on the other end, who would buy this over sized building. In Niagara falls they had the same problem mall and they took most of the mall down and put a Costco and built apartments on the property to put more density of population in the area. Good luck no one will buy this as is with the taxes so high, most of the space does not make money.

SooToday 9If most of these jobs are in the GTA, the highways are packed everyday. If there not real jobs let them go but people can be just as productive from home. Use the office space in Toronto for housing, only a government brings in millions of people causing the numbers in homeless to increase but only talking about building housing. Getting people off the roads and getting the same results seems a better alternative. Many jobs can be done from out of an office.

SooToday 10The Soo would be better off if they would just stop, everything there doing is nuts. Moving the bus terminal, a beach. People who have never had to ride the bus vote to move it, for kids coming down to the greyhound game or the mall. The price of this beach ask local kids maybe they would want year round entertainment than a beach. Vote out all these people.
