SooToday 23Colleges are just addicted to international students money, Ontario needs community college to teach what the community needs not management of grass growing. Northern Ontario is short of builders and of all trades, forest fire management lets teach what we need in the surrounding area. Bringing a medical school on Sault College campus, that would help the future of the Soo not more kids stopping for a few years taking courses that does not help the Soo.

People who have never had to ride the bus vote to move it, for kids coming down to the greyhound game or the mall. When you get to the Soo promise to put a Ship building company rate next to Algoma Steel we also need to find new markets and new industry in the North. Are youth do not want to move to the GTA.

SooToday 5My sister in law works from home she knows all her clients for years a job like that you can stay off the highway. Traffic in Toronto is already nuts to put more people on the roads where is all the tree hugers, what is the point if they are productive at their job. I have a website the guy works remote all day. Going back in time is the last thing we need we need anyone who can get off the road stay home and I am not a tree huger just someone when in the GTA wants to get to where I am going.

SooToday 2The Soo has lost so many jobs or services to other communities, service you would get at the hospital you have to go to Sudbury. But when it comes to services the drug addiction programs there every where in the Soo. Young people want to have entertainment not provided, poker room not regulated, but drug addiction we have every service. If there was no service all these people would go to the city providing the service and the police budget would go down to half. Do not blame the police blame the system governments have created. City that do not have these services their police budget is normal, go to Niagara on the Lake you will not even see a cop. I see an addict down town and ask are you from here to this point they have all come from other areas, is that because the drugs are here, simple guess if there were no drugs they would of went to Sudbury or else where. Does the city know who are walking the streets under the influence of drugs. Just a question.

I know this kid and he loves politics but does not want to both people of other political values. The fact that anyone cares the future of the cities politics should have some value. 3There are to many people in the GTA, when will government spread out the industries and people across the Country that would be a better answer. I lived in the GTA for 30 years and what took 20 minutes takes an hour. Build the largest port possible in the Soo and move some major industry into the area, would be better than putting millions of more people in the GTA. People who can work from home should get off the highway, not be forced back to work if you do not think there really working let them go.

SooToday 2My son Joshua Vierimaa helped Chris Scott door knock and win a close election just over 100 people difference and Chris never stop during the campaign. My son witness Chris go to countless meeting and has not stop since he won the election trying to help Northern Ontario. My son help change politics in the Soo, hopefully for the better. The public has to always keep pressure on Governments for different funding, the future of Ontario is Northern Ontario. I think Chris from what my son says is bringing the Soo rate to Doug Fords office, I was born here and cheer for the city but have no say into politics. I lived in Niagara Falls for 15 years and the Mayor Jim Diodati worked well with the Provincial government and years later they turned Niagara Falls around with Provincial funding.

SooToday 3Free road trip all drug addicts or people who are repeat criminals should be given a one way trip to Toronto or Vancouver, they have more resources to deal with these issues. Funding millions of dollars to keep the old school on Wellington and others Social programs, all these programs should be in Toronto or Vancouver. Governments have created this problem it is time we vote for parties that will listen to the public, if not change your vote next time to the party that will take drug addiction and repeat criminals seriously. Do not let them say it is every where, most cities do not put their salvation army on their Queen st area, Niagara on the Lake, Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Orangeville all their downtowns are where you can bring your family out without issues. City council would not vote for this but I guarantee this would lower the police budget, most officers could spend more time golfing. There are to many people making a good living from drug addiction.

SooToday 2Vote in city council and provincial and federal leaders that say the Soo has had enough time for another area to deal with people that have given up on themselves, when people have no hope how can people help. The city between police budget and social services its costing millions. Vote these people out if they support these programs, send them to larger centers with better funding and facilities. Wellington men shelter where every area of town they put will only cause crime. Federally there should be places to bring people for help not wait till they get caught in a crime, happen to my own relative so not just talking, they all new the girl was and addict and there was no where to bring her until she got caught breaking the law. Then two years in jail sitting be hind the wheel on drugs, she should of not been in the situation. Governments have create the system its time for change, went to court for a case there was a homeless person in court, they have no money to defend themselves.

This would make the game after a road trip something for fans to look forward to see. I was at Barrie and the Brampton game and this must of been a long trip for the new players not use to the travel.
