OrilliaMatters 2Couldn’t agree more with all these scenarios. Orillia has grown immensely and clearly there’s a lack of childcare with “qualified” caretakers. For parents with tricky work schedules, I can only imagine the stress as well. Here’s to being optimistic childcare will improve in our sunshine city.

OrilliaMatters 2Didn’t even know fairweather was in the area too? One of the downfalls of the area is shopping for clothing. Really we have limited options like winners, Walmart, etc.

OrilliaMattersAnother winter season with the same complaints from the community, which we have every right to complain!The city clearly cannot forecast how much machinery and labour are needed to keep our roads safe and clear. No matter if you are located in Westridge or downtown, the roads are messy, untouched and high snow banks etc. At the end of the day this city really needs to prioritize snow maintenance - every year is getting worse!
