This was implemented as an emergency response to covid. The risk has been gone for a long time. Everyone should be back into the workplace.

So families don't rack up a bunch of debt during the holidays when they will not have a job on the other side.

We always enjoyed watching the airplanes of all types coming and going. It didn't really bother us growing up on Walls Road. This farm is further away than that. It's unfortunate that one didn't realize that if you buy a farm that is out by an airport that is already there that one might get to see airplanes!

The only individual of concern here is Mr Rajat Marwah. He is the only individual that was a key player during the Essar bankruptcy and now total reconfiguration of Algoma Steel. How that guy manages to survive at Algoma is amazing.

During covid I had a job that I had to show up to work for. The people that had to show were subject to a higher degree of personal risk then the lucky ones that got to work from home. Now that the risk is over, I don't understand why the lucky ones that weren't exposed to the risk feel entitled to keep working from home. Get back to work...get back to the work place like everyone else. I agree with Mr. Ford

The steel plant needs orders. The steel plant needs the new EAF to start to produce. Without both it's a very challenging state of affairs for that company. CEO stepped down (retiring). Senior HR people have left. Senior Operations people have left. No secure investment from Federal and Provincial Governments on a new beam mill. It's dire.

A great lesson for people that volunteer their time to sit on boards. When dealing with not for profits or any other type of institution that over see's public funds. Open communication is key. What is stinging here is the community had no clue that the institution was in dire financial needs for years. They kept that quite. If people had known 4 years ago, they could have rallied the troops then. It appears too late today.

This is not an ideal candidate. This is totally disappointing that the PC's could not come up with a local person. I would like someone that lives and plays here. That has a sense of what the really issues are.

You are telling me that we have a member of the Police services board that is also a city councilor and the city had no clue that there was going to be in the hole for that amount in the budget. Further this information was released at the same time the former Chief was running for office in an election. Not sure what our Mayor has against the former Chief but I would start there.

The Blast Furnace consumes the same amount of natural gas that the city of Sudbury consumes every day. Now the blast furnace is not using any. So the city has the natural gas capacity coming to it. This proposed generation would still be way less than it has consumed. So you would have a net benefit of electrical power being generated, jobs and a taxes. I am confused as to why our city would be negative to this proposal. They are always taking about the need to diversify our industry but when someone reaches out to do just that it’s a no.

The province mandates that School boards have a board of Trustee's. So if they are required to have a board. (Which they are) then they are required to have meetings. Having your Trustee's attend meetings is a cost of doing business. The Algoma district is a big place and should have representatives from the entire region.

Huge red flag that a former employee of the Police service (Sonny Spina) wants to dissolve the same. I think ….no

You are correct. They modified the boundaries of their area of accountability. So now they would have to run in areas they haven't before. They are getting out on a high note.

If you have ever used a bathroom "porta potty" on a job sight or even many industrial sites they tend to be awfull. Most people would be happy to find toliet paper in there.!

Only one winner. They get to pick from the different options or cash payout. There are not a winner for each prize lot.

Coke oven/blast furnace gas is not very pleasant. I would prefer electrical power grid over that.

If this is the mind set that you must reside in the area that you work or represent. Then this should also apply to city council members to live in the wards that they represent. There are current city council members that do not live in the wards that they were elected to represent.

I prefer my candidate to be from the party that is in power. If that happens to be Liberal then that is where my vote will go.
