52it's about time! I had to deal with service Ontario in the south, and found that 50% of those i spoke with were absolutely useless. Drag them back into an office where their lack of work ethic can come under scrutiny. Not helpful in any way. Totally different than the face to face interactions here in the Sault which have always been great.

Could the Sault sell the landfill?
SooToday 2Bluewolf, I believe you may be referring to the Elementa pilot plant that was built at the landfill. The plant was a success. They took municipal garbage through a high pressure steam degredation process to produce a material similar to kitty litter, less landfill mass and clean energy by using the gas generated to produce clean electricity. No other plants were bult because the liberals refused to give the company a 14 cent per KWH buy-in at the same time they were handing out 50 and 60 cent per KWH buy-ins for wind and solar. Go figure.

GuelphTodayThe family wants a change to the laws for a stiffer penalty, when there is a death. Such a bill to add stiffer penalties was on the books as Bill 15 in the Ontario legislature. Sadly, this bill died when the election was called. I had made it to second reading, and committee hearings before being buried in the legislative process far almost 2 years. Our organization has been trying for 22 years to get such a bill passed. (Bikers Rights Organization)

Historic Matheson train station for sale
SooTodaymy grandfather had several bakeries in the area, (Walter Rhodes), and used to ship his bread to outlying communities through the train stations.Nice to see at least one old time station still exists in good condition.
