Vote wisely, careful what you wish for. Vote to take on Trump with an experienced economic negotiator or vote for a cocky Trump wanna-be and become the 51st State.Keep your Healthcare and CPP, or lose them.

Brewery doors may stay open

HmmmmStill hard to believe a brewery is actually closing. Gotta be mismanagement or poor-record keeping. Was management paying themselves too much. Are the owners going bankrupt? Two sets of books? If there's less beer drinkers, than you downsize. Something doesn't add up. Hope for new owners. 🤞

HahaThat's funny. You would think they would focus on getting qualified ethical people. Don't blame it on lack of diversity.

How about Council and Administration go through some credit counseling first. It's like a free-for-all shopping spree with you guys. Is this how you run your households?

Yes, the public has lost all confidence in this council.

If the goal is to beautify Thunder Bay, then start cracking down on citizens, including Councilors, from parking their vehicles, trailers and junk on lawns, greenspace and boulevards.Disgusting! So much for bylaw/property enforcement.

For the time being, it's a good idea to decrease the sports trips to the US. It's not like they come up the same amount. With the way Trump treats us, together with tariffs, ICE agent activities, protests, exchange rates, accommodations and travel expenses, why go.Sports are not cheap. Especially if parents go along. Let's keep your hard-earned money here in Canada.

Thunder Bay residents need to get more involved because this Council has let us down. The low turnout is a clear indication that the residents have lost all trust and confidence in this Council.

It's not a revenue generating facility. How is this a good move in this day and age? This Council needs credit counseling.

Has there ever been a more incompetent council then this group of characters? This not the first project they have botched. Why are taxpayers paying them for this?

Over the last 20-30 years, Thunder Bay has been slowest growing city in the country, if not, on the planet. The City has been in defensive-mode, not attractive enough more new industries, that will attract more employment. The single-family homeowners cannot keep up with tax increases. If the City wants to match their desire for more public transit, and get cars of the road, then the multi-residential units make sense. On top of that, the College and University should build more accommodations for their students, and relieve some of the vacancy pains. There is an abundance of vacant land in Thunder Bay suitable for multi-residential units. Knock down some empty buildings. And at the same time, lets try and increase the commercial and industrial property revenues somehow, like attracting more commercial and industrial business.

And there you have it ladies and gentlemen. These are the individuals that are contributing to the decline of Thunder Bay. Really? They need to be making that type of money, compared to most residents? And what return is this City seeing from paying them these outrageous wages? It definitely hasn't been positive. Talk about Management top heavy. No wonder Thunder Bay is the ugliest City in Canada.
