These people all need rehab and mental health support. Put them in a home or institution where there is help.

The person he killed doesn’t even get the chance to complain about anything because he is dead. Life snuffed out.

This might be a good idea. Put them in jail, sober them up. Housing problem, drug problem solved. Forced rehab? Might work?

I can’t see a grocery store wanting to open there because Costco has groceries.

My friend’s dad has been on the geared to income housing list for four years after working and paying taxes his whole life and another’s mom will be on that list next month too. Another friend has her daughter and grandson on the low income housing list and they both work minimum wage jobs just can’t afford a place. Can they all live there too?!

So there is no reason for people to sleep out in the cold right? And difficult behaviours should go to jail then. So no reason for tent sites at all is what I’m thinking.

A few decades ago when I rented I needed first and last month’s rent and proof of tenant insurance. I’d get an eviction threat on my door if my rent was over 24 hours late and had to provide post dated cheques. There were rules that had to be followed and consequences if we didn’t. Too bad it’s not like this anymore. We used to learn responsibility.

Maybe don’t break the law and get in this situation in the first place. I understand the human rights issue but I think all other people’s safety comes before their rights if they made it in there. It’s really hard to get into jail these days. They just let a manslaughter charge go walking and wait for their court date for goodness sake.

Put them in jail.

It takes hard work and responsibility to own a house or rent. Such as working 3 jobs to get through university and paying student loans back with roommates and living in crappy apartments and trailers. It can be done and must be in some circumstances. It’s not easy but it’s possible for sure. Government handouts shouldn’t be the answer. Try taking responsibility. Cmon.

Great idea to bypass Kakabeka for sure. The sooner the better!

This is why average people can’t help with the housing crisis. The law is too much in favour of the renters. That’s why corporations are buying houses and renting them out. They can hide behind their lawyers

Put them in a mental health institution to help them figure it out.
