It is freakishly beginning to look that way. I mean, the clock has already started ticking. He has been allocated 30 months - being a Supreme Court case - so we are down to 28 months now. Move it or lose it, guys.
I know for a fact there’s video surveillance in that exact area because they used it in another homicide (of a young woman). I’m always left stunned when they don’t release a still of who they’re seeking to ID because it exists. I know most of the time, usually it’s like a potato trying to take a picture. And if they do release a still, it’s not until MONTHS later cause they (again) realize they (again) don’t have any real leads. It’s simply just wasting precious time in the name of “privacy” of the perpetrator.
I’m a little suspicious of Kyle wanting to throw a party for the CN Centre.. I’m not sure how the semantics work but he *does* have a “production” company - which has planned and thrown local events and parties in the past. I don’t like the prospect of him double dipping - being able to propose and vote FOR this event and then being hired ($$) to plan and throw said party. I can’t remember what happened last time when someone else called him out for this but.. just my one and a half cents.
Is there a reason why the Director of Civic Ops wasn’t named in the above list? Did Blake McIntosh not hold the position then entire year or something? Or was the omission just an oversight?
Finally! The “other option” that shall remain nameless (and useless) was an AWFUL provider. The wishy washy type rules that made passengers feel were made up on the fly. No service on the Hart, outlying areas within city limits.. Just ridiculous. Congratulations to Northern Spirit. Make customers your priority and you’ll clean house!
