Council rejects additional funding for seniors' centres

14I can’t wait for the next civic elections. I have never been so disappointed or , in some cases downright disgusted, by the decision making of this council. Five thousand dollars to have a meeting is nothing apparently - while $17,000.00 (basically only 3 times that) cannot be allocated to help 5 different seniors centres make it through their fiscal year. Unbelievable. Of course look for better solutions for the future. They need help now - many seniors rely on these centres. Especially in these difficult times.
