SooToday 48How about they just learn how to ride their bike in a safe manner like we did as kids ever since bikes were invented. We didn't have bike lanes or reduced speeds, we rode on quiet and busy roads including Trunk road on our way to school and back, we followed the rules for bikes like riding in single file on the right hand edge of the road, had bells or horns to warn people we were coming up behind them. If they're going to ride bikes on the road the onus is on them to do so in a safe manner, there are already rules for vehicles on the road. They should also have to insure and license their bikes if they're going to be on the road.
