this is not about blue - this is about an MLA who never communicates with his constituents. We have had great MLA's - Don Tannas, George Groeneveld, Wayne Anderson - their doors were open, their constituency staff were polite and always ready to book an appointment, get information to you, offer you a coffee. And the MLA regularly sat with constituents i honestly think this is the worst MLA we have ever had. He is a blowhard collecting a salary
Yes there was a dog trampled to death against a fence this last spring. and yes there are at least 2 significantly injured deer that nothing will be done about. and yes there has been significant confrontations with dogs - in their own yard. Yes i will not walk my dog around the pathways during rutting season - too many confrontations on pathways. i really would like to see some control put on the birth rate - sterilization or cull
a lot of the homes already switched to gas furnaces long before the project was decommissioned. since the residents got so much "benefit" from heating with solar - why should the town (the taxpayer) pay for decommissioning. The town got a plaque! and so the land will sport some more "squished in" development to try and recoup costs. Many knew this was a sham of virtue signaling. Now a failure - who knew!!!!
Yes that is the tough part. i have tried many times to find out where solar panels are recycled. cannot get an answer. but at least these were only full of antifreeze and not toxic chemicals and minerals.
this is a very disappointing action on the part of China. But it is in response to Carney. Canola export is worth more than aluminum, steel and EV's combined. Destroying the west while protecting the eastern industries. We just keep taking it but this is serious - talking does not cut it. Smith needs to talk to Ford
Everyone wants new schools - we have one million new folks last year. they do not bring schools or hospitals, or staff. it is too bad we do not use modular schools so they can move to next location when a neighborhood is "aged out". we do not need bricks and mortar.
One of the best events in okotoks. all the building in the garages, Dad a mastermind of his kids favorites. eveyone on the hill cheering. thanks to all the sponsors, the Town, the participants and Rotary. great day!
