Hopefully something like this is what gets the ball rolling, so we can once and for all call out those who choose to divide our community for their personal gain. The police service like any, is already under immense scrutiny and pressure without the challenges of this sort of "witch hunt". I am personally more concerned with and interested in, solving crimes and cleaning up the drug trade and the illicit activity it brings.

Perhaps a better approach would be de-escalate an attacker by communicating with them yes use your voice and words, try to understand why they are attacking you, maybe they are hungry and want your sandwich or money to buy a sandwich. Isn't it better to give someone a sandwich then hit them with a water bottle? I believe everyone has a right to be safe, we should always consider people's basic human rights.
