Construction for new city transit and fleet facility has begun

5It amazes me that this project has commenced ahead of affordable housing starts. Our transit currently has a facility that received imporovements a few years ago. Community affordable housing is a CRISIS. The new Transit project was mentioned in the 2025 budget and it is already proceeding. The housing starts mentioned in the budget are still sititng idle!!!!

City plans new traffic lights, pedestrian crossovers and more
GuelphTodaythose extra traffic lights have very high cost to install and the monthly operating cost is high? Yes at specific high pedestrian cross walk locations it makes sense. But this City loves installing traffic lights in so many places it annoys drivers who inadvertently try to run them while they are yellow / amber. I personally have never witnessed a City like Guelph - pedestrians ignore lights and are walking on do not walk lights holding up traffic. Bizarre!
