We get stuck with these dead beat slumlords from out of town that hikes rents and drive homes into the ground. Perhaps there should be a rent cap put i. Place on a certain percentage of all these new buildings. Nobody can afford the current rates and still put food on the table.

City urging patience as it deals with snowmageddon
SooToday 4After living in ottawa for 25 years. The city snow removal crews have been fantastic. In the big city this kind of weather event would have been called and emergency. The city would not been able to cope. The fact that I drove to work Friday morning across the city and the roads were passable is a good job in my books. Let's not forget where we live. The average snow we get and that winter has been minimal for almost 10 years. Most business closed or people could work from home. Schools were closed as well. I'm self employed do no work no pay. If you are only complaining because you couldn't go christmas shopping on black friday then you need to get your priorities changed. The safety of the cities people is what pwt think about not your christmas list or whatever you would need to be on the roads for in such a weather event. Stay off the roads so they can be cleared easier.Mother nature does her. We do us. That's how it is. Happy Hollidays.
