Once again! The City of Prince George councilors and administration effort to initiate a program aimed at utilizing vacant downtown storefronts “Vacancy to Vitality” is outside it’s purview. The City administration is required to provide a safe and secure environment for businesses to operate. Mind and manage City business. Make the difficult decisions and initiate action to rid the problems.

Government seeking or driving economic activity is ineffective and wasteful. Government must create the atmosphere for industry and business to exist and expand by mitigating the bureaucracy, processing time and costs (application fees, permits, inspections, etc…) by retaining personnel who are effective at their jobs and realize that time is money. That is where entrepreneurs want to be. Entrepreneurs will promote Prince George.
