Alarmed? At a cost of $50 million in 2022 to about $75 million by 2025, an increase of 50% is Alarming. More so alarming is the someone's inability to adapt to rising construction costs changing the footprint and design.

100% support this location. Dignified location for ease of access for basic necessities of life and it shows us all that Thunder Bay takes care of its people.

Far too many elected councilors lack competence to take lead on most municipal changes. Boundary changes as presented have purpose for voters. It should be less about the councilor's own future political aspirations. It does appear this council does not align with 2025 Thunder Bay citizens. Next Election, NEXT?

Sensationalizing a story about someone who gave 99.9% of their life to public service to community and one sentence written by the author is just not right. One tragic mistake and lapse in judgement by the deceased and now by the author of this story. Some writers know better, especially seasoned writers. May he rest in peace.

Let's make this easier. Put Parking Donations boxes in areas where they plan on keeping meters and parking police. Far more cost effective than the current system and more citizen/visitor friendly. Remove the meters

Agree 100% what Ruberto is saying. Makes perfect sense. The marina is ours to enjoy freely 24/7. Parkades idea is brilliant. Put out a RFP or RFQ (Request for Proposal/Quote) and see what bites.

$23 Million was the original budget in Jan.23 and since risen to $75 Million. Why? Construction costs? Labour shortages? Steel/concrete increases? Building code changes? Soil remediation? Inflation? The city contributed $5 Million releasing funds to secure the project for weather winter stages. What's the solution? Independent construction review, site supervision and monitoring of cost overruns and deficiencies might be a start. An art curator cannot possibly be qualified to manage a construction project of this size nor it's board of directors. Future funding with agreements in place, might consider stringent conditions on those dollars. (I might add, it is the people's dollars) A complex situation requires complex solutions. Yet here we have an Art curator labeling anyone or thing as "alarming", I say it it again. Tis he and they that are ALARMING. The Art Gallery project is far more than 50% over budget and its legacy is tainted. Shame on you.
