Why not the company from Sault Ste. Marie? Shouldn't our tax dollars support our own?

This is an emergency!!! Why is not every available help going there right away. This is elder abuse!! City of Sault Ste. Marie is responsible too!!!

I really can't understand why the workers don't understand about all the cuts.Every year during the busiest season they go on strike, now people cannot trust when they send packages if they will get their packages for Christmas.I agree that fair pay needs to be worked out but if you take away services at the busiest season year after year, there is no money to pay more.A lot of people depended on Canada Post at Christmas to send things to loved ones they wouldn't be able to see. To send them something to say they were loved and thought of. Then they didn't receive it in time for Christmas or their birthdays. It hurts the person so much that was waiting for that little hug through the mail. Hopefully this is straightened out now and things can go back to normal.

They are really helpful in emergencies too when there is no power or you have to vacate to get away from a fire. You won't have enough power to get away safely. How many storms have we had in Ontario where places had no power for days or weeks. Electric cars would work great then too. Very sad.

I was recently at a restaurant in a Travelodge in Sudbury and was really surprised by their sign on their restaurant door. Their sign said that if you tip on the debit/Visa machine, the tips are shared with all staff including kitchen staff and are divided by hours worked. So the poor waiters/waitresses that aren't getting many hours get even less in tips. To me this is so wrong. Cooks are paid much better than waiting staff. They also only received their tips on their paychecks every two weeks. Please if you want to tip, please use cash so your waitress/waiter that did a great job gets their tip.

Leave the dogs alone. They are being well taken care of and him and his wife are the leaders of their pack.He has made sure they are well fenced, fed and taken care of. Maybe work on the homeless or drug problems in this country and leave him and those dogs alone. If you are so concerned about them, make sure they are all fixed so no more will be born.LEAVE THEM ALONE!!

Really hard to prepare for Utility interruptions when every insurance company doesn't want people to have a wood burning stove. I guess it's better to freeze. We really need to rethink this.

I know I wouldn't want it sprayed anywhere near where I live. What about the damage done to the animals that eat plants ex. Deer? What about people going for walks with children or dogs? What about people that work in the bush including rail lines. What about people that have camp's in the area and wells?I think more information is needed for people to decide if they even want this sprayed. Nice to just put it on sootoday without the publics input. I vote NO until more it known about this weed killer.

This is so sad. What are people supposed to do that don't have money. The poor seniors that are on a fixed income trying to visit their loved ones daily. People that have children in the hospital, how are they supposed to spend time there.I just read lately, I believe Vancouver or Alberta has made hospital parking free. That is how it should be.We need to do better in Ontario.

Just to let you know, this closure is very frustrating when I tried to go to the graveyard to take care of family graves at Greenwoods. No detour signs to let me know how to get there. Very 😔

Congratulations on your new position. Hopefully the night drop off will be opened up again and going in to see the dogs available. I've found the person doesn't always pick the dog, the dog will let you know when they pick you.

That's fantastic! Sault Ste. Marie is an awesome town for helping others in our community.Driving down Elgin week days you can see people lined up trying to get help.Bless everyone in the Sault for supporting others needing help.

We need to do better. Obviously our treatment plants cannot handle all they need to. Instead of spending millions on pools, bike paths etc., we should be protecting our waterways. Without clean water, we are sunk.

Parking is an issue downtown! What is going to happen to the businesses already downtown. Parking to go to the businesses on Queen Street is already a problem. It doesn't help that their is construction on Queen Street and I hear there will be less parking on Queen Street after construction is finished. Where are the patrons supposed to park to shop at those businesses if a lot of the free 2 hour parking is used for 8 hour staff?

He keeps doing things that are wrong and only backs down when caught. I wonder how many things have gone through without anyone knowing. We have the greenbelt scandal a few years back. How much do that cost the taxpayers? Now we have a jet. How much is that going to cost taxpayers?Mistakes keep being made and the taxpayers pay for it when we have a huge problem with homelessness and seniors that don't have enough money to live. Does our government even care about anyone in our country? Really disheartening. Please do better.🙏

Thankyou to all out snowplow operators that are out there cleaning the roads! Everyone stay safe out there. Better yet, stay home if you can.

Closing that store is going to make it difficult for a lot of people downtown. There are a lot of people that walk there and now they will have a really long walk to get to any other store. We keep losing so many stores downtown. Walmart left where seniors close by could get groceries, etc., liquor store is gone from the mall, now the beer store. A lot of stores have closed at the mall too. Soon there will be nothing downtown. I absolutely hate going to the Walmart and other stores near Second Line because of traffic. But the people that do not drive, it is a hassle to get there by walking (a long way) or bus that is not very convenient. Thank goodness the IDA is on the corner of Bruce and Queen Street for basics. Please stop taking everything away from the downtown area. We have small businesses on Queen Street that need traffic and customers.

I don't know how workloads crush you, all you ever do is say no and crush people really suffering. Why do you think your starting pay is almost $100,000.00 per year. It really is not to help the injured.
