Quiet skies on Canada Day with fireworks ban in effect for Prince George

I wish fireworks were banned always, at least within city limits, for the benefit of all the ptsd dogs out there.

Guess it's to be expected living in a conservative stronghold.

Funny how Rustad built a base by pandering to the mis-informed, conspiratorial and anti-anti-Fa types. Now will sweep that base of it's most politically damaging idealogues in the hopes to mask his party from the more sane center voters.

Lou you got in here too early, now we won't hear from the many other angry CONS spewing their thoughts.

Is there not still smaller non Canfora Corp giant mills still operating? Babine, Dunkley, Nechako Lumber...others I'm sure. Seems like the juggernaut Canfora is the problem.

Mackenzie was destroyed long before the NDP came in. Years of BC Liberal leadership bled that town for half of it's residents long ago.

Manitoba premier Kinew is the most popular premier in Canada, by alot. Eby tied for second with the wackjob next door. How long has she been in charge there? Grande Prairie has twice as many homeless as PG, yet a smaller city. Guess it takes awhile to build prisons and asylums though.

Imagine being so afraid to accept that you might be to blame for some of your own failures that you continually find a bogeyman in those around you with differing opinions. To blame mainstream media for controlling the minds of a majority of the worlds people, somehow by never looking at or using their platforms. Have you listened to CBC news and programming? It's not very scary. Meanwhile making their deductions by "doing their own research" from you tube or whatever confirms their personal bias including some of the supposed non fake news like Fox and Post Media. I think too large of our population has been brainwashed by foreign trolls and bots through algorithms on their devices, all designed to create a breakdown of our democratic institutions. Imagine being so afraid that you could blame and demonize regular and simple political leaders, all backed by their own interest groups of course and believe that replacing them with the same guy across the aisle will provide change.

Upon checking the BC Wildfire service website some of these fires mentioned are listed as undetermined cause, and the suggested Endako fire is near railway but has highway 16 between the fire and the railway. Pointing fingers without actual justification may be easy but only leads to more of the usual misinformation that's discussed in these stories?/opinion pieces? Though some of them were possibly train started, unfounded accusations just fuel the fire. More probable than space lasers starting the fires though.
I somehow doubt the NDP needs to bribe to stay in power, unless they foresee Horgan bowing out.. even then? Likely not, that movement always thinks they're bigger than they really are. This isn't alberta.
Ya you go Brink, to all you Canfor sympathizers maybe there is room for a non mega corp forestry option. It's shameful when CFP stock holders justify their opinions with lapdog mentality. " The only "trickle down" BC got from Canfor was a stinky sloppy mess they left after a cowardly retreat.

Record early voting in BC, even before the Cons put out an actual yet vague platform. I guess this fairytale BC growth of close to 6 % must be from when they open up all the plastic bag, straw and cutlery factories? Also if the Cons get in do we lose 5G? You know cause of it's implication of being a weapon and such..

Best beer ever!!

Was wondering what today's prank was, if only any of them even knew where PG is.
