Poll: Trudeau's disapproval numbers slowly rising

Both Trudeau and Singh have destroyed Canada socially and economically only for their own personal gain. They both need to go asap.

For every accident caused by this situation Trudeau and Singh have part responsibility. They have chosen to create an immigration system that works for themselves as politicians and not for the rest of the country. Immigration programs they have chosen to create are being abused and manipulated by some immigrants, and the results are making it unsafe for all Canadians politically, socially and economically.

It is clear what causes the problems raised throughout this article. Now what will Prabmeet Singh Sarkaria, the current Ontario Minister of Transportation will do, or is his ongoing avoidance dealing with the real causes of these dangerous problem something we should all be challenging?

Here is an idea when it comes to Toronto investors making their mark in North Bay. How about you lead by example and get your fellow Torontonion to finish the building they started on the corner of Second Avenue and Front Street?

I'm more than comfortable to have to deal with the return of long line ups at any restaurant or coffee shop. Nice try Mr. Curry, that type of fear mongering won't work.

STOP enabling people in all areas of society and things in general will make society a better place for all, including those who choose to live a lifestyle on the streets

Get the "Boots on the Ground" and local church groups who encourage, and enable this behaviour to clean up the mess that they help promote, and encourage through their own self-serving behaviour.

The greatest majority of text messages received by any student during class time is a parent who is already aware that the phone should not be used during instructional time. As long as a parent still makes that contact during class time, a kid will most often address them during instructional time. You may be preaching to the wrong age group when you tell them not to use a phone during instructional time. Most parents feel the rule you speak of does not apply to them so the issues surrounding the phone being a distraction during instructional time will always be an issue, until adults rethink their own agenda's. Outside of an urgent message that may come up during school hours, perhaps the better solution is to improve patterns of communication at home so to reduce the need to text for simple non urgent matters. Can you imagine the many other positive impacts that communicating face to face could bring within the relationships being built at home?

I was just thinking the same thing. It's nice to see someone who owns their property and pays taxes on both the profit of said unit, and pays land tax have a say in how their property is managed. Until now, in some cases, a tenant who abuses the property he/she rents has more protective rights, especially when their behaviour is criminal in nature.

Thank you ob1. More of us need to stand up and share this same message you have. When we do, the world will become a better place for all.

Well said Mr. Grayson Ackroyd. Politically, I believe the police at all levels are wanting to do more but they are being held back just because of who those drivers that you politely suggested are behind the wheel. As long as there is no open acknowledgement that there is a problem and movement on this from Ottawa and Toronto on what the real problem is, the police are stuck in reaction mode when they want to be proactive. According to CBC's investigative source MarketPlace "The system for testing truck drivers in Ontario has been compromised by bribes, forged documents and rigged testing, says a memo leaked to CBC's Marketplace by an industry insider." Review the following and you can see who is creating a system of dangerous roads for those long standing law abiding Canadians - thanks to a broken immigration system. https://www.cbc.ca/news/marketplace/bribes-trucking-industry-hidden-camera-1.7348425and you will see who is creating a system of dangerous roads we drive daily.

Well done officers. It's about time someone with authority makes those who practice poor parenting skills accountable for their actions, which always impact others unfairly. If the parent(s) were abusive towards law enforcement during the investigation, then even better for the officers for standing their ground and applying the laws that are there for all to adhere to. Police will look to give breaks to citizens when possible, but I support them when they don't do that with just cause and with good reason.

Finally, a politician makes a needed statement for the betterment of all without fear of upsetting small self-serving interest groups. Thank you, Mr. King. More politicians must do the same in order to stop the self-serving team of Singh and Trudeau who have created the healthcare and housing crises with their unstructured financial and immigration policies.

If Canadore College is being investigated for career-limiting or discrimination or abuse of key employees why isn't the former Director of Education for the North Bay and area Catholic School Board also investigated for the same exact behaviour?

Wow! That's a lot of money wasted on a small percentage of kids and their parents who don't follow expectations set for all. If the provincial government wants to save money expect more from the small percentage of parents who don't do their job, and start standing up to them. This will help the majority of kids and parents who want the education system to work properly/ 100 percent of everyone involved.

Solutions - stop providing free rides and letting those who expect it all the time to feel the same as adults. If you can't afford the cost to study abroad , then stay home and make do with what you have like the majority before you.

Idahaddanuff and YukonJim, Thank you! Well said.Mimi Bobo - a solution would be to stop paying healthy potential workers to stay home, then the find ways to get them to work and contribute. Possibly have each case for those who are not working to be reviewed in order to seek out those who abuse the social assistance systems that are in place, and finally deal with those who are dishonest. Those who are not abusing the system, help them find ways to contribute, and feel better about their situation.

As long as a tiny group of citizens make money by running these facilities with the help of provincial funding the problem will never go away.

The Union should lead by example and focus on four things to help improve learning for all. 1) Help to improve teacher training both before and after certification. Expect more and you will get better results. 2) Encourage the Ministry of Education to stop placing caps on the number of students that can be suspended when culture/race is deemed a factor to some administrators (primarily taking place in Southern Ontario). No caps should exist. Suspensions should only be based on behaviour patterns so it is fair and consistent for all. 3) The Union should encourage Directors of Education to stop asking their school administrators stop suspending so many students. The Director's fear that when the same kids are repeatedly suspended they will leave and go to one of the competing Board's of Education taking with them provincial funding. 4) Encourage accountability from all adults (regardless their role) in what they say, in what they do, or choose not to do

Albert Einstein once said that the definition of insanity was "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."
