this is being pushed to justify the criminal overspending on the Plaza. I hope the weather is freezing and nobody shows up. The most logical thing would be to have a puck drop inside the heated GFL centre and have vendors from around the city set up shop and sell food and drink. That makes sense......not a puck drop.............coming from the heated sidewalk brainiacs..........

City Council should be holding emergency session on this instead of glorifying themselves with ridiculous things like heated sidewalks and nonsense like that. These are human beings and council is meant for the public not for individual egos. Just my opinion. That money that was spend on the Plaza which will end up like the Bondar Pavilion very quickly could help in legal cases to remove these out of town landlords from our city based on their greed.
