Time for the NDP and Liberals to finally get their respective acts together and form an official COALITION Government to block the CPC and Poilievre. And Canadians need to vote for said coalition government, to save Canada from a right-wing, authoritarian CPC government that it does not want or need.
You guys have been saying that with every election cycle. You kept saying it with Harper, you kept saying it with Scheer, and you kept saying it with O'Toole. Now you're saying it again with Poilievere.Guess who's still the Prime Minister?
After the failed, miserable performance of this Ford Gov't, I'd think that Bonnie Crombie should cakewalk through any upcoming election, and that would be without doling out free hamburgers and hot dogs.
I think you Canservatives may be in for a real shock this go-round after the results pour in.Especially with your boy aligning himself with Trump. The polls are already shifting in a big way and we are not anywhere close to an election yet.
How about a 0% Sales Tax increase, and put the money into health services, more doctors, and fairer compensation for family doctors. Ontarians already pay some of the highest sales tax rates. The problem is with the people who appropriate that money. More on health services and doctors, and less on vanity projects like spas, tunnels, beer at gas stations, and unaffordable condos.
I agree with most everything in this piece, except for the author stating that "D.J. Trump is no "moron"". He has become a Jimmy Swaggart-type figure, pandering to his followers. It didn't end well for Swaggart, and it won't end well for Trump.
Yes they did, Dennis, but, as you know, it's a big Province. My hope is that she'd move to, run, and campaign in Parry Sound-Muskoka.We're long overdue for a Liberal MPP after Andy Mitchell left politics. We should be so lucky.
If Doug Ford does not cancel Elon Musk's Starlink Gov't contract for northern Ontario, then he's not being serious enough about the threat from Trump, and he will never get my vote. The spirits removal from the shelves is certainly a step in the right direction, but this bully to the south wants to play hardball."Let's Roll" Premier!
I stopped reading at 'Journal of the American Medical Association'.It's a well known fact that the U.S. has always had a backward view of cannabis use, as far back as the Nixon era, and even prior to that.Walk into any Canadian cannabis outlet today and you will plainly see that gramma and grandpa are most likely the main customers in the store.Canadian seniors have been the pioneers of cannabis use throughout the years, and instinctively know that it is one heck of a lot safer than consuming alcohol on a regular basis. If gramma and grandpa want to enjoy a little toot from time to time, well, in my opinion, they have earned that right.Leave them alone to do as they please!
So they are not re-paving Laclie St. from Hwy 11 to Fittons Rd.???It's always nice to welcome people to your city by having them drive down what feels like a washboard when it's actually the main street into town from the north end. Most cities feel that the condition of a main street into a town should take priority, and they do so. I guess Orillia couldn't care less. That section of Laclie has been so awful for years, and every driver in the city (and outside of the city) knows it.I cannot believe it's been left off the list again. Is anyone in the transporation dept. awake? If not, just take a drive down Laclie St. .... you will be!
I think the 'Axe The Tax' people are upset that it's costing them $180 to fill the pickup truck with fuel to head down to the mall to do donuts and burnouts. How can you be "rolling coal" without fuel? Of course, it's all Trudeau's fault. Just ask Poilievre.
This is exactly how Poilievre operates. It's akin to when Stephen Harper hired hundreds of people (on Kijiji of all places) to operate his War Room by inundating social media sites with fake positive content.Nothing changes with the "Conservative Party of Canada", except the name change from the Reform Alliance Party. And this is EXACTLY why I would never vote for them.Pierre Poilievre = Stephen Harper.Period.Full stop.
