What are they ‘putting on everyone’? They’re not asking anyone to do anything extraordinary, this is to make people drive the speed limit, as required by law. Also, safety is everyone’s responsibility. We live in a society and are meant to care about each others wellbeing, to some extent.
Keeping track of your speed one of your responsibilities while driving, it was necessary before speed cameras were implemented and will remain so after they’re gone.

That’s my optimistic view-AI may reduce opportunities for the jobs it can do and young Canadians will fill our necessary sectors (trades, medicine, education) if it works out this way it can be a blessing.
