Some big successes (child benefit, child care savings, tax cuts), some big failures (cerb, electoral reform, housing, immigration).Definitely time for a change. Grateful for the good things that came in the last 10 years but hopeful for whoever comes next to fix the misteps, whichever party that person comes from.

No Prime Minister has ever been 'Elected' in Canadian history. Please check how parliamentary democracy works.

Basic personal amount jumped from 11k to 16k over the 9 years. Middle class bracket reduced by 1.5%.Love him or hate him, taxes are indisputable lower. Harper lowered, then Trudeau lowered.2025 I don't see any tax increases so no idea what that comment is about.

Doesn't matter who is in government, Northern Ontario always struggles to get anything out of Queens Park. Now we're going to send a candidate who has no connection to here and is just using us as an easy seat to help Southern Ontario again. Can we get an MPP that actually lives here? It's been a while.

They tormented people in public and in their own homes, and violated quite a few laws. Is anything legal as long as we say we're only breaking the law for a political point? That's literally the prerequisite of terrorism.

You have a very different memory than the rest of us. They were mocked worldwide and supported only by Republicans in USA.The convoy tormented people in their homes in residential neighborhoods, all throughout day and night with no breaks. They didn't just protest. They caused actual harm to people, blocked ambulances, shut down businesses, flew certain flags that were prohibited since 1945, and yelled at visible minorities in the streets.

I can't imagine being so afraid of my own shadow that I'd need a concealed weapon to leave the house.I hope you get the help you need!

Tucker the Bank of Canada confirmed they did not print money, currency has not been devalued from printing. Way too many people hear thirdhand comments and take it as gospel if it aligns with their political views.

Why on earth would you pray for a Chinese style one party system?

Doubling our deficit to borrow money and send us all cheques, blowing $15M mailing them instead of using auto deposit because you want people to have the physical memory of depositing their Douggie bucks ...I thought Conservatives were supposed to be the fiscally responsible party? It's all scandals and blown cash. $200M on an election , $3B on bribes, $250M+ for us to be able to buy booze in a grocery store 9 months ahead of schedule... What is going on?Any party have a sense of fiscal responsibility anymore? He's as corrupt as they come.

Xintu, problem was it was between him and Mulcair. Harper was brutal and his entire 2015 campaign was just trying to scare people about Sharia law. Remember how that was supposed to take over Canada if we didnt vote Con? Lol.As for the drama teacher, at least he had a job before. PP's resume is literally just politician, never had a real world job.Wish they'd never booted O'Toole so there was a reasonable option this time around

He could just as easily have run for the CPC leadership and you'd be going on and on about his economic expertise. There's a reason he was asked by Harper to be the finance minister, he's well respected in his knowledge there.Going from a PM that was all about handouts and identity politics to one that's saying the gravy train is coming to an end and won't touch identity politics with a 10 foot pole... how that the same old?
26
16
Every PM gets called that on the way out the door. Most people just thing it's time for change, myself included. He isn't any more hated than Harper was at the end.

They're all crooks and liars. We're being sunk at the federal and provincial levels simultaneously.

It's probably a fair criticism to call them incompetent, but divisiveness is the expertise of the Conservative party, and what cost them power in 2015.

So the more Conservative someone is , the less likely they are to buy Canadian? Kind of a sad find.

Keemo I'd rather a banker with high level executive experience than someone who has never worked a day outside of politics , AKA absolutely no real world experience.
