New companyNew employees No unionThat’s how it should be. Hire people that actually want to work and have the ability to get rid of the ones that don’tThat is how a company can survive

Everyone always wants minimum wage to go up. Guess what. Your tire rotation goes up which is fully labour and not dependent upon increased costs like oil and filters which add to the increased labour costsI made $3.15 an hour back in 1985 changing tiresGuys now start at 18-20 bucks an hour. And they don’t work nearly as fast as we did. What used to be a 20 minute job is almost an hour now. Wonder what it will be 10 years from now

When minimum wage goes up and prices of things increase because companies like McDonalds have to pay more. Remember this. Taxes go up. The income taxes the government gets and the increased sales tax on that higher priced burgerThe government is the only beneficiary of higher minimum wage. If you want to help people that make minimum wage supplement them with food discounts or rent subsidies. Or give them higher tax deductions

Agreed. There has never been so many mines all running at the same time within a three hour radius of the Sault. And many are looking for hard working people.

Can the city not reduce the library taxes enough so it can get its own internet router and a laptop or desktop that is dedicated to the use of tic toc and the librarians can monitor the tic toc account that way?Probably 1200 a year for internet and a one time 1000 for a pc

And the more a country shares our values the more trade we would pursue. If however a countries values were not in line with ours we would be more specific in our trading policies with such a country. Actually quite intelligent

I followed two trucks last week driving 40kmph to n second line between Leigh’s bay road and carpin beach road. One truck pulling an asphalt buggy. They had filled one hole then slowly drove over 20 others. They look busy but aren’t doing anything. Where is there supervisor. Who is accountable to ensure these crews are actually doing what they are supposed to be doing. I would have fired them on the spot

Drove back from Michigan last week and for the first time in my life I looked left and didn’t see any poison clouds coming out of Algoma Steel.
