My mom lived there over a decade ago, when she first moved in it was primarily seniors...(no issues), within the 4 years she lived there they changed the rules and then it became a scary place to live (for the seniors remaining), my mom lived on the main floor she would have people banging on her door all hours of the night people shouting to tenants on upper floors to let them in..it wasn't safe then..and looks clearly that it's only gotten worseWhy can't seniors have a building where the can afford the rent and live in peace? Don't they deserve that~!

Lets just call it what it is (there isn't a "good site") no one wants it in their back yard or near them, I can’t blame them hopefully once this (village) type settlement/temporary housing is set up they will be responsible for the area around their surroundings because now any encampment/tent area I drive by is horrendous, overflowing carts with belongings (I assume) (fair enough) but the mess they leave behind is disgusting, have some pride in where you live even if it happens to be a temporary shelter As far as being backed into a corner....not sure only they know for sure

If it doesn't work the first time around (modify) slightly and TRY again. Why on earth would you want to move to a mall in the middle of the city, sure might be more room, but you are also closing a branch that has been vital to the County Park community for years (all of a sudden) they don't matter?!

If council can reject they should and ask for a modified plan with maybe 1/2 the initial units.

I think this service is valuable, and I am glad that they found the resources to bring it back.

It's about time, the number of accidents that almost occur and the delay of other traffic because people are in the intersection turning on a red light have become unacceptable. I have been involved in an accident and refuse to enter the intersection unless I Know I can make the turn on the light...people have just started taking for granted that they can fly through an intersection. I have also witnessed this at Broadway and Hwy 61 with a full loaded wood truck...good thing I look both ways before proceeding on a green, because I was green he was not..and I know they cannot stop on a dime, but I am sure regular pulp drivers know the sequencing of the lights once they go under the underpass, that was just plain ignorance and unconcern for others

doesn't help that many drains that I drove by at 4 pm were already covered with trash obviously blocking the necessary entry of water and yes it was a lot to handle but that isn't helpful

you are correct with the placement of the bus shelters (because the promised bus barn) was never built, to the addition of the Shelter house then the DSSAB..it has become quite a problematic area...look at the church across the street that had to put steel closures so people would not sleep and use it as a bathroom

Absolutely disgusting, I mean those of us that live in these places don't come to your driveway and dump our garbage

What a tragedy, my thoughts go out to family and friends

yes that plus no bus barn (as initially) promised, the Shelter House, the DSSAB, all adding to the congestion and nefarious goings on. City Hall has had security for years, so why can't the Library (both serve the public)

Once again jobs arw being removed from local people, rhe offering of moving to Toronto etc are unfathomable considering rhe housing market and costs. I doubt Porter will be offering any moving/relocation expenses!

If you have a valid library card you can use their online service that includes books to borrow on line as well as movies, magazines, they tried a portable lending program a couple of years ago..it was a bust

Thank you to these individuals and caring for the he animals and the people of this Northern area. So many people that are looking for care for their pets have to travel 8+ hrs or even to the USA, I hope that when these individuals graduate that this will not be as hard as it presently is. Much appreciated

perhaps there should be a sign posted by the TBDHU to state that the area has a high rate of ticks that have positively tested for lyme disease.

I usually wait across the highway near the baseball fields and then drive up. Or if I time it right I pull into the free parking lot for 10 min
