How petty of the school board, they’re the ones who closed the schools! Mauro didn’t even use the real logos ??

Kudos on the city for recognizing the importance of the Brodie library branch!

Ah, so all those NIMBY’s win and the homeless population gets tucked away out of sight, out of mind. Disgusting! Where is the proximity to services?? Why was there absolutely NO public consultation regarding this site? Smh

Look at the police budget for decreases!!!! Firefighters are the last place you should be looking to cut costs

So, if kids take the bus they can either be in an accident or get run over whilst loading / unloading due to cars driving through the red flashing lights of the school bus. BUT if they are forced to walk because of the new criteria limiting bus usage they’ll just be open season for said drivers. Drivers have very little consideration to pedestrians and bike riders and that does not necessarily change just because they’re students!!!

There could be more utilization of Brodie library instead of closing it at 5PM and on weekends!! Togman, you’re sulking because of being shot down multiple times in moving a location to intercity. Also, I’m awaiting the day the library announces they’re absorbing the indigenous knowledge centres (IKC) the library have into the wider collection to make room. Heck yeah, reconciliation only when it’s convenient!!! Gotta love the logic.

I think the library ousting AETS out of their Waverly branch for their children’s area after AETS paid for renovations shows how fickle renting and renovating can be!

Not necessarily! Spent many hours in the basement of Waverly and it was usually fiction, movies, and YA! Which, of course, is all upstairs now. Alas, it’s unfortunate for AETS since they paid for the renovations at the location.

Pets, babies and young children create dense waste. Weekly pickup benefits many families in the city

Oh yeah let’s pay for our corrupt police forces legal fees instead of supporting our injured workers!!! /sWHY would it be appropriate to take from a WSIB reserve fund??
