Oh great, just what we need. Another elite very similar to Trudeau running our country. With any luck he will lose the next election this fall.

Maybe becoming the 51st State might not be such a bad idea. At the very least we would be able to defend ourselves in our own homes. Might make these crooks think twice about doing the crime if they knew they could die taking someone elses stuff.

Maybe it is time to have the fire department going up and down the alleys at night and spray down anyone lighting a fire or hanging around a lit fire in the back alley's. Most of the street people have been offered a place to live, maybe this will change their minds about living in the alley's and streets.

Really David Eby........A ban from certain Red States in the U.S. You do realize that the Blue States are also part of the United States don't you. If you are going to ban products from the United States, then ban them from all of the United States. Picking and chosing like you are only makes you look the fool.

Just curious as to what you have to hide from the tax payers?

Big oart of the problem in my opinion is that people are in too big a hurry to get from point A to point B. There needs to be more RCMP out and about and giving tickets out as required to slow some of these people down. Once they get 2 or 3 tickets and realize they are going to lose their license, that may get them to think about slowing down. Better than walking people.

I think councillors Bennett and Klassen and any other councillors that support this washroom should be put in charge of cleaning this new washroom that they are all pushing so hard for. At least 2-4 times per day. They could take turns sharing the shifts. I.E., one in the morning and one later in the afternoon.

This great plan that the city has for redevopment of the downtown core needs to definitely go to a referendum. There was a referendum on building a performing arts centre many years ago and it was soundly defeated. I am sure that most tax payers in the city will vote it down again as we cannot keep piling taxes onto the city residents and businesses. I know I and my wife will certainly vote against it. Time for our elustrious mayor and city hall to pull their heads out of ( for a more polite way to put it ) out of the sand. The city has been redevoping the downtown for well over 50 years and not a whole lot has changed.

Congratulations on a well deserved retirement Shirley. Thank you for all you have done for the north part of the province as well as the rest of the province. We do appreciate your hard work.

I am not a member of Stop the Spray B.C., But I do agree 100% with Mr.Steidel. The timber rights should be taken away from Canfor, and returned to the government of B.C. so that someone else can have timber rights in the affected areas to be able to start up other mills and create jobs for workers in the affected areas that have had mill closures. They should not be able to retain the rights to ship logs to other areas or to sell the timber licenses to other forest companies to result in a profit for Canfor.

This is were having at least 4 Water Bombers stationed in Prince George would be really handy. Fire call comes in 4 Water Bombers dispatched relatively quickly, and a good chance the small fire is out quickly. The cost of the Water Bombers will certainly be much cheaper than the costs of the timber losses (usually in the millions of dollars during our fire seasons.) each fire season in B.C. Not just PG, but put 4 in Dawson Creet or Ft. St. John, 4 in Kamloops, 4 in South Okanagan, 4 in the Kootenay's, 4 in Smithers. The forest savings will certainly be worth it as our forest industry is being decimated. Oh, and just so people know, I am not affiliated with the forest industry in any way, shape or form.

Wow,, with a city of approximately 80,000 people and a surrounding area of lets say anothe 50,000+ and this is a news worthy story? I think you may have to rethink your hiring of the 3 new reporters.

How about city council also consider no more make work projects during the snow plowing season. At least several days if not more when widen the streets when not a lot of snow on the ground. Equipment out running with1 inch of snow on the ground. I think better management of snow removal is in order also.

Nice to see that the Safe Street's rally is going to be held at the CN Center, where for the most part, the streets are already safe.

City full of old water lines and sewer lines that are very old and all will need replacing, but hey lets worry about spending millions on a Perforing Arts Center. Time for our so called city leaders to get their heads out of the sand.

City Council as well as city staff should find a spot, maybe the northeast corner of the intersection of Highway 97 and Highway 16, put Mr. PG there and protect that section of land from Commercial or Residential construction so this matter of moving Mr. PG NEVER has to come up again. Put some forethought into our city planning. Long overdue on some common sense. Moving Mr. PG downtown is a losing proposition in my opinion.

One could only imagine how much smaller the fire would be if they hit it as soon as it was reported, with 5 or 6 water bombers.

They are all already overpaid for what they do. No more raises for the next 10 years.
