If the Democrats put up a bag of pine cones as a nominee, it would be better than Trump.

Most ridiculous thing I've read today. He's a conman that leads a corrupt family who has admitted he gropes women, skips out on all his bills, has been found liable for multiple offences and is a convicted felon. Best hope? C'mon.

I don't need media to see that Trump is thin-skinned, narcissistic, mocks disabled people, mocks people for their looks and nationality, accosts women (admitted it on tape), has no idea about economics, stiffs his contractors, scams vulnerable people (Trump University and his "charity"), believes Putin more than his own national security, cheats on his wives, likes dictators more than democratic leaders, doesn't understand science, skipped out on military service, denigrates war heroes..... I could go on for hours.

No one can beat Trump? He lost the popular vote in both elections. It's only the weird American system that got him elected.

Can this man make one statement without some some rhyming, alliterative catch phrase? He's a conman. I wouldn't trust him to feed my fish.

You know, none of those people are politicians. Just because they're famous doesn't mean they'd be a good president. I'm tired of people thinking anyone famous or good at a job makes them presidential material. Experience makes a good president, someone who has served in public office before.

All the time on Soi Today I see people mocking the city for issuing advice and warnings about snowfall. "Six inches isn't a big deal! Back in my day....." Well, back in your day, what did you do about the snow in your driveway? You got rid of it, somehow, someway. The city didn't plow it away. So go get rid of it, grumble to your spouse about all the snow, and move on. And for those of you wanting the city to clear your driveway for you, I better not see you on here complaining about higher taxes.

Maybe it looks like a Liberal thing because Conservatives aren't proud enough of Canada to go.

It is simply astounding that measles is back. It was eradicated and now some people think they know more than doctors because of what some know-it-all writes on Facebook. Unbelievable.

I keep checking these articles about Trump and I keep wondering where all the commenters are who wanted Trump to win last November. Any thoughts, commenters, after the last six chaotic weeks?

Have you ever been out of the Sault? There are homeless people and drug addicts in every city. This is not a Sault problem, it's a societal problem. There are so many people in this city that do wonderful things that we should be very proud of.

What issues? The vaccine is safe and prevents death, injury and misery. That's all you need to know. It's misleading information like this that is the problem.

The comments here are, unfortunately, all too predictable. No one can deny that the climate is changing, there's too much pollution in the air and water and that thousands of species are going extinct. Yet so many of you mock people who want to fix these problems. You should be grateful that there are people willing to fight for the only planet that we have. But instead you sit back with smug, ignorant smirk on your faces. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Yup best to home school so that you can pass on your narrow view of knowledge and not expose them to opinions and ideas and cultures and experiences of other people. What kind of parents would want that for their children?

Do you think a company like that would open a store anywhere without doing market research first? They're pretty successful. They seem to know what they're doing. If they think store will do well here I'm more inclined to believe them rather than the posters on here who refuse to see anything positive in the Sault.

A failing mall. Another situation completely unique to the Sault. Just like homelessness, drug addiction and bike thefts.
