Most ridiculous thing I've read today. He's a conman that leads a corrupt family who has admitted he gropes women, skips out on all his bills, has been found liable for multiple offences and is a convicted felon. Best hope? C'mon.
The truth is that we have one of the larger economies in the world, our natural resources are the envy of the world, we have the second largest land mass with access to three oceans and consistently rate as one of the most respected nations in the world. We're not a superpower but we're hardly insignificant. And if you read Carney's speech you know that it was about banding together with other countries of our size and values to stand against the superpowers.
I don't need media to see that Trump is thin-skinned, narcissistic, mocks disabled people, mocks people for their looks and nationality, accosts women (admitted it on tape), has no idea about economics, stiffs his contractors, scams vulnerable people (Trump University and his "charity"), believes Putin more than his own national security, cheats on his wives, likes dictators more than democratic leaders, doesn't understand science, skipped out on military service, denigrates war heroes..... I could go on for hours.
You honestly think that in the few months he's been PM Carney has passed laws to change the tax codes? When parliament hasn't even been in session yet? It's obvious that you're biased, but come on.
You know, none of those people are politicians. Just because they're famous doesn't mean they'd be a good president. I'm tired of people thinking anyone famous or good at a job makes them presidential material. Experience makes a good president, someone who has served in public office before.
