Ticketing individuals who don't have an address, or a place to live is petty.Apparently Municipal Clean Yard By-laws > The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. lol Let's ignore the gross housing shortage and focus our attention on a dirty yard. This article is a red herring. They mask the severe housing shortage with "yard garbage". Two years ago there was barely enough housing for half the population, now home builders aren't even pouring foundations at the same rate as last year, because they aren't making a profit. Instead of complaining about the side effect of homelessness, "Whaaaaaaa, these scary disadvantage people are leaving their garbage every where..." Why not ask the people in charge why things have gotten worse in Canada? Canada seems to be aligning itself with WEF's Agenda 2030. As more of our rights are taken away, we do nothing, when we should say "NO!" immediately when it happens. If anyone remembers THX 1138, this is where we are headed.
We need to address the recent public town hall meeting and its lack of accessibility for our city's major voter demographic—our seniors. Many in this vital community were unable to attend in person, raising the question: why wasn't the meeting made available via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Cogeco's local TV? Ensuring that all citizens can participate in civic discussions is essential for a healthy democracy. We must explore ways to enhance accessibility in future meetings to engage everyone, especially our seniors who deserve to have their voices heard
What's interesting is the lockdown's and their orders weren't written into law. They were merely suggestions. Ironically, government offices that serve the public still had government employees working during the lockdown. Yet, they were closed to the public. Hmmm let's think about that, public sector employees still showed up for work, while they locked their doors to the public. The hypocrisy is so thick it could've been tasted. The real kicker is the LCBO, a government owned business, was never forced to close it's doors during the pandemic. Reading into COVID-19 deaths... If someone died in a car accident yet tested positive for COVID-19 it was falsely recorded as a COVID-19 Death. There are a bunch of holes that don't make sense and there is a lack of integrity and accountability when COVID-19 deaths were reported. During the peak of COVID-19 there were ZERO, (0) recorded cases of the flu. Mrs. Stewart, please appeal. May God Bless you.
Many commenters seem to be toxic and/or ignorant. They use the fact that they are behind a computer screen to bully and persuade others. Many of the comments are using logical fallacies and are attacking Mrs. Stewart as a person vs addressing the issue. The issue is simple - Did the government have the right to side step our Charter of Rights and Freedoms, while at the same time not applying their rules to themselves? Does the government have the right to discriminate and force individuals to take an UNTESTED vaccine? Taking a vaccine where the manufacturers had no legal liability should there be any injuries or deaths related to the UNTESTED vaccine. Do the Governments of Canada, Ontario, and North Bay have the right to sovereignty of our physical bodies? The real noodle cooker here is how did they a mass all the vaccines so quickly without going through the standard 5 -10 year trials? How is it that millions of vaccine were made in months, when it normally takes years?
This is a slippery slope. We are a slave colony. When our minimum wage raises, companies will start packing up and opening up shop where there's cheaper labour.
This article underscores a critical flaw in poll-based reporting: poll size and demographics dictate data utility. A sample of 1,080, while seemingly large, is a tiny fraction of Ontario, and without demographic details, its representativeness is questionable. The suggestion that opinion "could change" implies current opposition stems from a lack of information, not fundamental disagreement, highlighting the data's limited immediate value.Crucially, the piece reveals politicians' self-serving motives. Phrases like "They understand what their base wants" and noting that opponents haven't voted for them in past elections suggest decisions, like creating "special economic zones" that bypass laws, prioritize political gain over the genuine needs of the people and the environment. This illustrates a disconnect where political strategy trumps broader public and ecological well-being.
"Secure Compound" Was this individual dumpster diving? I worked at Bell Technical Solutions and they allowed individuals to salvage copper wire from a dumpster. The verbiage used suggests that the individual was dumpster diving to strip and recycle copper.
Facebook, since it's creation, has been a bottom feeding social media platform, designed for the lowest common denominators. What's app, Facebook, and Instagram (meta) mine your data to sell you ads. (supposedly) When you give this app permission over your contact list, it uses your contact list to "identify" others. Your address book ensures the accurate identity of a phone number and email address to an individual. Everyone who uses Meta Apps, need to be aware that their contact list is being used to confirm the identity of other people. You combine this immoral practice of mining data, (legally stealing your data through privacy agreements and terms of use, which many people agree to, but few read.) with their recent censorship allegations and you get a social media platform that uses you, instead of you using it. People need to understand this: You aren't using facebook, it's using you! Fakebook, What's APP, and Narcissist-o-gram sells your information.
Contact Provincial Ministry: The NBMCA operates under provincial legislation. Langlois or his lawyer could contact the relevant provincial ministry (e.g., Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks in Ontario) to report the procedural irregularities and request an investigation into the NBMCA's conduct, particularly the denial of his right to be heard. This can lead to a direct intervention. The lawyer should determine if a permit from the NBMCA is even legally required for this type of work.If the work is purely interior and does not involve changing the footprint, adding to the structure, or affecting any regulated area, the NBMCA may have no legal basis to require a permit. If a permit is not legally required, the lawyer could send a formal letter to the NBMCA stating this position and demanding they cease their involvement. The NBMCA appears to be acting outside their legal authority. (Not staying in their lane)
"Let us also take a moment to thank those who give so much of themselves to make Canada the place we are proud to call home, including the brave members of our Canadian Armed Forces, the dedicated first responders and essential workers, and the countless volunteers, excluding those annoying postal workers, who we forced back to work because they don't have any rights."*Rides in his publicly paid for jet while blaming and taxing Canadians for contributing to global warming. "Sorry I can't hear your high cost of living, immigration and housing complaints over my jet engines and Taylor Swift concert.""May the recession my government has brought onto this country be remembered during this holiday seasons as our government is on another paid holiday" "For all those that are suffering - we give you MAID, you're welcome."
Mr. Fedeli how much have you spent on billboards and mailer pamphlets in the past year? What is the total amount you have spent since the election in 2022 on self advertisements? Were these ads paid out of your own pocket or did the tax payers pay for your self promotion through colour newspaper ads, mailers, and billboards?
We live in a plutocracy. Unless you attended a family wedding of Doug Ford, or are trying to build on the greenbelt, goodluck. Cash grabs combined with lying politicians is what Canada is becoming. Vic Fedeli is good at putting himself on billboards and ribbon cutting ceremonies. Other than that I wouldn't count on his office answering legitimate concerns. Perhaps to get his attention invite him out for a ribbon cutting ceremony of the duplex. Tell him the press will be there. Our levels of government are over staffed, over paid, and they get comfortable being in positions of power. The municipal, provincial, and federal governments of Canada no longer work for the people, rather, the people work for the government. It's absolutely backwards. The level of trust people have of the municipal, provincial and federal government is dwindling for good reason.
The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) has responded to a parliamentary inquiry into death rates during the Covid pandemic. The data revealed that the Covid boosted individuals died at higher rates than the non-vaccinated individuals during the same period.Source: Order/Address of the House Of Commons 8555-441- 2741 Sept 16 2024May 27 2024 - Question NO. Why are we more focused on non-taxpaying countries than the well being of Canadians?Poilievre will send our tax dollars to Ukraine, that is part of his platform.Foreign aid is oxymoronic. How does our government, who is funded by our tax dollars decide to send our own money to foreign countries? How do we support foreign countries violence and death when we have a housing crisis so bad people are dying on our streets? It seems one of the major qualifications to becoming a Canadian politician is the ability to lie, and argue. It's like watching the WWE.Why is it okay for the United States to bully the rest of the world and invade other countries but it's not okay for Russia? (Remember Iraq, and Afghanistan.)The Russian-Ukrainian conflict has gone on as long as it has because of foreign aid, and weapons systems being sent over. Zelenskyy had his political oppositions arrested, and still demands more money, even requesting youth from America to come fight in his war.
"I would like to thank Deco Label for making me a multi-millionaire under a loophole of a private trust" "I would like to thank all my friends who have benefited from my green belt housing contracts" "This is also a time for everyone (except for seniors, cyclists and the homeless) in Ontario to reflect on the past year, appreciate the blessings in our lives and cherish the people who make them so special"
Some great comments here!Don't forget about Doug Ford's company Deco Label. He moved his holdings for that company to a private trust, to loophole the system. When Deco Label was sold Doug Ford made millions. How much business did Deco Label get from the government during the COVID oandemic to produce all the signage necessary for all the lockdowns?@Susan Watson makes a very good point about Doug Ford's greenbelt pals.@jojoco reminds us of the $225 million paid to private breweries, instead of waiting a year until the contract ended.Doug Ford and our Legislative government took almost half a year off on tax payers' dollars. How does someone who has profited heavily from Deco Label located in the US, by being sneaky truly have to offer his constituents?Mr. Premiere why does it seem like you have your hand in American business interest's pockets, while American politicians have their hand in your pocket? Abhorred Doug Ford.
So why does Doug Ford need an election to combat Tariffs?Well I'm all for getting fentanyl off the street.. Terrorists have less rights than criminals. They don't even get a fair trial. They can just go straight to jail for life.
The public release of North Bay Mayor Peter Chirico’s corporate credit card expenses for 2023-2025 sparks significant moral and legal concerns. While he claims all personal charges were reimbursed, the extensive list, including golf memberships, hockey tickets, and even dog treats, creates a strong perception of the card being used as a "personal expense account."Morally, this erodes public trust. Citizens expect officials to be careful with taxpayer money. The "no receipt" entries further compound accountability issues.Legally, while the Mayor denies wrongdoing, the key question is whether these expenditures, reimbursed or not, violated city policies governing corporate card use. Breaches could constitute misuse of public funds or conflicts of interest, depending on specific bylaws. The council's rejection of a forensic audit is particularly concerning, as it represents a missed opportunity for a thorough, impartial review.
It seems the Councillors and mayor in North Bay have Hockey Pucks for brains. How can one step over and ignore someone experiencing homelessness while going to a hockey game. Shame. The priorities are upside down. Atleast we have a new 60 million dollar Sports complex being built....Hypocrites is right. The sighting of tents might induce our city Councillors to vote themselves another pay increase, because of the "emotional" trauma of seeing a tent on public property. Hockey Pucks are more important than Human Lives.
