There were plenty of warnings and advanced notice that traffic cameras were coming. Saying you didn't know the cameras were live is an admission of guilt in my opinion. So you break the law when cameras aren't looking?
Obviously the policy needs to be changed. If we are waiting for a certain amount of snow to fall before roads are cleared and plow operators are just waiting, why not send them out to start the process? Also there should be plenty of time to remove snow banks during downtime if we are running 24/7 as they say.
