Ask the folks who tried to go to 5:15 mass at the Basilica last night. FYI, that is private property.

Another wave of moves designed to make driving as miserable as possible. Hopefully this year's election will restore sanity to the city.

Now that is a big pail you know what. Talk about overreach.

Make them plant the trees before the project begins. That way we know it has been done.

Any costs associated to this should be 100% carried by those who subscribe to heritage designations. The taxpayer should in no way have to pay for someone else's pet project

Don't complain about your deficit then. Cut off financially viable companies and pay the price willingly and without complaint. Go get funding from the eco warriors. Good luck with that.

New or old buildings, as long as downtown is a hangout for undesirables I will not darken any doorway down there.

Always nice how the complainant gets to remain anonymous. I would take a gamble and keep the chickens, take the charge and demand the complainant come to open court to testify. No court is going to levy the maximum fine.

Time to deal with this issue and call these vehicles what they really are. ATVs.While we are at it let's get electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters off of the roads and bike lanes. Get on the sidewalk where you can legally be. You fought for years to be pedestrians. It is time to get off the road.

I will vote for anyone who promises to get rid of existing traffic calming impediments and/or will work to prevent more from being initiated.

Only way to eventually stop this childish behaviour is to expel students from their university, no refund and ban them from reapplying to any Ontario University for 5 years. Millions of tax dollars have been spent over the years babysitting these so called adults.

You know who could have prevented a large share of this? The Trudeau Government. Half a million new folks every year looking for a place to live. We don't build enough housing for folks already living here.

Hardly news. This happens with every road closure/restriction.

Been to many conferences that had motivational speakers. Do not remember a single thing they spoke about. That "job" is about as legit as a divorce coach or life coach.

They are adults and demand to be treated as same.Party privately, not on the street denying taxpayers safe passage.Life not ruined. They can apply to out of province schools. Can't help but notice you failed to touch on the millions of tax dollars spent.I guess we could always make Universities pay property taxes to offset the costs. That would force them to actually care and do something with the entitled student body.

Perpetual victim mentality is a western society phenomenon.

If the city can't plow roads all the way to the curb they need to ban parking on all streets during the winter. Far too many roads are single lane width due to poor ( or no) plowing. Don't get me started on the people who park in these narrow roads, often time directly across from one another.
Those who want these things to be preserved should have to pay for it, not the property owner.
