Families need transportation for school, work, medical appointments ect. Don't be so ignorant to think that low income people can't drive. I hope you don't find yourself in a position where you need the food bank. Maybe they'll turn you away because you have a car.

They already are paid well for the amount of time they are actually working especially when you consider that they teach the same curriculum every year with very little change to what they teach, hence extra free prep time for them on the tax payers dime. It's time the provincial government steps in to control the greedy unions and teaching staff.
