THE PAIKIN PODCAST: How should history remember the Freedom Convoy?
32
There was no attempt to overthrow the government! Where does this HS come from?

Why is it that opinion has to bring up Pierre in every article? We are talking about China and the US, nothing whatsoever to do with our federal practices and policies. Lift the needle already!

27
I resent you calling my husband and father "thugs". My father was truck driver and my husband is one, and neither have a thuggish bone in their bodies.
33
14
For you obviously. Best to adhere to speed limits and stop whining. Just be glad that it's just a photo, otherwise you could be pulled over by a cop in a speed trap and he would throw the book at you. Vehicle impounded and fines. Not a cash grab, it's a form of training for those that believe they are above the law.

Oh please, how many protests have occured on the hill in the last 60 years or so....some very loud and disruptive. The difference, these are working class people we are talking about.
32
22
I resent you referring to my family members as thugs. Give your head a shake! If PETJr had done the right thing and spoke to the organizers rather than scurrying to his rabbit hole, the protest wouldn't have gone on for as long as it did. For some odd reason, people never learn from the past.

Justin, were you there? Just so you know there were farmers, health care professionals, police officers and armed forces personnel not just truck drivers. This wouldn't have gone for so long if our fearless leader had have met with them, instead he runs to his rabbit hole and hides. Also there have been many a protest on the hill over the years that was noisy and interruptive, but those protesters don't get the press, why? Because they aren't fighting for working class clauses..

Faustus...if bikes are using the roads, should they not get their vehicle licensed, pay a fee like the rest of us?
21
20
I've never read so much BS. Not sure where it comes from...it's shocking that so-called adults believe their rhetoric
20
18
Quiet down opinion! Had enough of your prattle about Pierre and security clearances!
20
23
Imagine us, Harley Owners and not one tattoo to be found. We personally don't like 'em. My Uncles had them...the Airforce/Navy types usually applied to forearms, but that's the esprit de corps type of thing.

Damien Kurek did not get "pushed out", he voluntarily gave up his seat so that Pierre could run. Art Carney forcibly removed the candidate from Nepean so that he could be the Liberal leader.
19
16
An Amercan Friend of ours is voting for an independent candidate. That likely is true for many Americans, they aren't crazy about either Biden or Trump.

12
You should know better coming from the Soo...lots of MMSW fighting for their rights over the years, or did you forget what your grandparents did so that you would have a better life?
20
13
Caveman....you are from Sudbury you should know better. What did the MMSW fight for? And by the way, salaried employees brought the strikers coffee and donuts while crossing their picket line.
19
14
In the bad old days cars went up on blocks and bicycles went to the basement. Perhaps the winter riders could form a snow clearing group from their own numbers.
16
6
You are mistaken. Look in your history books. Salaried employees brought coffee and donuts to the MMSW during their 1958 strike against Inco...a bloated US company
24
10
Same as the trekkers in 1935. Only wanted to have government aware of the hardships that the quarantining was causing their ranks. Difference is two people were killed during a riot in Regina on July 1st ...a cop and a trekker
20
26
And the working class is paying the bills....

Opinion at it again. You are from the Soo, you should know better. What did your MMSW grand paretns teach you...nothing obviously.
