You don't heal by constantly dwelling on the past and trying to over shadow every major holiday with something wrong in the past. That is not healing. Healing is acknowledging it, fixing it where you can, talking about it (not over and over and over) and moving forward. Constantly bringing it up in the way that it has been actually causes the issue to lose meaning in my opinion and actually hurts the cause.

Having patrols looking on it once in awhile is absolutely ludicrous you may as well not even bother. You need to post people one on each end 24/7 until the bridge is repaired. Anything less is just a complete waste of time and does nothing to provide security.
