One "area" only to lay the blame, and that is with this & past liberal governments of Canada.The liberals brought in the population explosion, the decline in employment, and everything else that goes with Canada's dismal economy."Sunny Ways" will not let the "Budget Balance Itself". Printing more money and over spending will not buy our way out of debt.Doubling the number of federal bureaucrats will not ease unemployment.Supplying free drugs to addicts will not rehabilitate anyone.Bail, multi-probations, or house arrest will not protect victims or stop crime.This list will go on and on with the liberals in control.Canada needs to elect Pierre Poilievre as the Prime Minister of Canada, only then will we see any light at the end of the tunnel!

Mary, they are talking about $250,000, not the $25,000 you mentioned. $25,000 would be a ridiculous price to spend on a flag and flagpole, but $250,000 is completely ludicrous.

Counselors for the city of Barrie should read these comments and immediately rescind their emotion on the flag. If the counselors have $250,000 burning a hole in their pockets, there are a lot better ways of spending it.

If you save the picture to your desktop & zoom in you will see she was fined $98 for going 55 km/h in a 40 km/h zone.Give an inch, take a mile, is NOT how it works. There is NO specific "grace speed allowance" that is a discretionary practice as far as I know.

Have you not heard or read about school crossing guards being hit and yes killed while volunteering at intersections near schools. It doesn't happen everyday "THANKFULLY" but it does happen.

Estimated cost of demolition in 2023 $350,000, actual cost of demolition in 2025 probably add on another $150,000 make it an even half million. Delaying projects only ads on more rules. More regulations and more cost. When I was a kid Fram at a television commercial for their oil filters, they said "don't wait for spring, do it now before it cost more." I prefer to slow down for speed cameras, rather than slowing for speed bumps that interrupt the smooth ride my vehicle provides.Also there are people that complain & possibly sue for suspension damage to their vehicle.
