One of the main problems conservatives have is their new propensity to ... look at rules as guidelines. This is seen in Alberta, with Danielle Smith, with the UCP playing loose and fast with the rules, and with the dumpster fire down south. Conservatives used to be the ones that cared about the rules. Once they started losing they became quite comfortable with ignoring the rules. The parties of "law and order".... not really.

Perhaps, if the police actually did something to justify their wages we would. If they did something as simple as investigate and charge, even when we they have video evidence, we would.

So, using the same logic, "Compared to when the Tories were last in power, Zimmer said the Liberals haven’t been spending as much on infrastructure in his riding." and given we're almost certainly getting another liberal majority - why do we keep electing people that are on the outside looking in? It's not as though we benefit? When has being a stalwart conservative stronghold last helped us? 2011? Maybe?

I wouldn't be surprised that if we actually elected an MP that wasn't in opposition we might get a little more largess....? Nah... that wouldn't happen... except federally that's exactly what Harper did....

We are so lucky we didn't elect this guy. We're having threats of annexation from Trump and this is what he want's to talk about?Do better. We need unity now, and leadership. Backstabbing and whining about last years news is neither.

I've run an EV for 5 years here in PG. There are certainly shortcomings. But the reality is that they are ridiculously cheap to maintain. Tires and brakes. That's it. No oil changes, no radiator fluid, no spark plugs, no worry about dirty fuel. In BC it cost me about 7$ to drive 400 km. In China currently over 50% of all new vehicle purchases are EV's. Why? They are cheaper to run, by far, than an internal combustion engine. It's a no-brainer. From Chatgpt - Total Ownership CostOver an eight-year period, considering purchase price, fuel/energy, and maintenance: Gas Model: Approximately $60,210. Electric Model: Approximately $49,699.This analysis indicates that, despite a higher initial purchase price, the electric Kona offers savings of about $10,511 over eight years. If you were to be competing on a global stage, which economy will prevail?
