Orillia girl challenges age rule after being denied ride on bus

Here's a question... How was the driver able to immediately tell what age the riders were? Did he I.D. them? That would be really weird. Sounds like Mr. driver here needs to take a chill pill and do his job which is driving the bus. Also, they never said that the adult has to be related to or even know them, so does that mean this driver is going to see an adult with a child and just automatically assume that everything is on the level? That's not helpful either...

They have absolutely no problem with people buying beer and drinking at their beer tents during the summer... What's to stop someone from getting too intoxicated there and causing a problem within the park?

Unfortunately, there's no such thing as PRIVACY in a PUBLIC SETTING. If you go where people are, they're gonna see you. If they happen to be recording... Deal with it.

I think of RVH in Barrie: very hard to get to or even find if you're not familiar with the geography of the area.

They haven't offered ANY specific reason why the benches were moved. I'd like to hear ANYTHING about it... No matter how misguided they may be.

I keep saying to people... It's less about the fact that we don't make enough money... Everything is ridiculously expensive. If things were more affordable, we wouldn't need as much money. But as the wages increase, so does the cost of living (apparently the prices go up at a quicker rate too, according to certain articles I've read recently...)

If you want to save taxpayer money, stop hospitalizing people who hurt themselves by being stupid drivers.

Since when do we have a problem with Amazon? Almost everything A Liquidation Auctions is directly from Amazon...

@MM314 I'm saying that just because a store is "local" it doesn't mean they don't constantly get deliveries from online suppliers. I really don't think you can blame parking prices on people not frequenting any store. People are going to find deals that are affordable and don't end up quickly wearing out. I have seen some of the shoes for sale there, and I can confidently say that some of those were subpar quality. Either way, my point is that Amazon isn't necessarily stealing business from people down here, considering half of their stuff is sourced from random online places. Especially all these specialty stores that focus on a particular interest or hobby. How do we expect these people to continue owning businesses if they can't get the merchandise they need? And what is a practical solution moving forward? It certainly isn't confusing everyone with one way streets.
How about emptying out the full and overflowing garbage cans on the main street? That would be cool.
Can you provide me with more details that describe the process of "dealing with" the intoxicated?
Well then, they broke the law when I was there because I left drunk.
