Council votes to speed up renoviction bylaw for Guelph
GuelphToday 2SO happy to see Council pushing the City on this. Shows that, as a municipality, there are fast and effective ways to have a direct impact on affordability and homelessness. I would be curious if the commenters here who are worried about landlords, also complain about homelessness and encampments. You can't have it both ways - that landlords can kick people out just to raise the rent under the guise of renovations AND complain when there are encampments in the park down the street.
