the tories wont like the increase in the deficit and the bloc wont like the cuts to provincial transfers, and the ndp wont like the cuts to the public sector i expect we will soon be going back to the polls
north bay mayors getting caught with hanky panky and getting away with it is not new. its part of the political culture of north bay. in any other city there would be cries from the public, the media and council for chirico to resign.
i was there i dont know what was more cringy chiricos phoney mea culpa or gardner defending him. by the look on chiriricos face i wont be surprised if he calls it quits
chirico has 60 days to reflect on just how toxic he has been to the city. hopefully reality will click in and he will resignin the last vote on doing an audit it was 7 to 3 in his favor i think he thought last night vote would go the same way. council members king and mallah in very emotional statements tussed him under the busthe look on his face and his silence after the vote said it all
so much for the transparency they promised us in 2022. until north bay adopt a ward system, dont expect any thing to change in north bay. the city has t adopt FOR WARD THINKING
well folks they want everybody to go didgital from i d to voting.sorry , but call me reactional , im sticking to shopping the old fashion way, going to the store and paying in cash when i can
so no council member questioned don rennick on what he was saying i guess they either didnt like what he was saying or they really didnt understand what he was saying
four of the board members are from north bay three of them on city council lana mitchelle, chris maynes and mayor peter chirico.talk about cronyism. the corrruption coming out of city hall is staggering unfortunitly we have to wait a year before we can do anything about it at the polls
one of the items is 6500 spent on a legal matter to the integrity commisioner im 2023. i assume that was over the maggie hornsfield sarah inch feud .i wander how much the chirio fiasco is going to cost
