He sounds all nice and all, playing naive canadians like a fiddle. But if you listen to old interviews of him, all he talks about is de-carbonization and how it is the biggest threat. All this guy has ever done in his BoC & BoE career is devalue currency. He wrote a book indicating that all financial decisions should be made based on ESG and nothing else. Sarcrificing everything for this radical cause, especially the poor saying "many will pay a price but it is necessary". I know deep down this guy has a temper and has no time for anyone who disagrees with him. You saw a glimpse of that when hew told Rosemary Barton to "look inside herself" when she asked him a fair question about his assets that he refuses to disclose. Not much aof a stand up guy as far as I'm concerned. Not buying any of it.

His vision will make Canadians poorer than they already are. He is very radical when it comes to climate and net zero. He also likely has many conflicts of interests sititng in a blind trust that he will not disclose. He also does not do well with media. Go watch something other than CBC, CTV and CNN maybe you will learn something. Seems like Canadians over the age of 50 only use these outlets to get their news. Being more educated just means he knows how to impliment bad policies better.
