If the city had not dropped the ball on snow removal and kept up with plowing there would be no need to scrape 8 inches of ice into our driveway. The banks are at dangerous levels getting out of driveways is hazardous to say the least when contacting the City of SSM the answer was doing the best they can ... So I hired a contractor at $200 a load to remove the snow which again with the almost $4000 a year taxes just irritates every last nerve I have!

We are already paying a tax surcharge for sewer and road repairs on our street till 2028 but the city wants to build a river (sest) pool on the water front and now increase water rates taxes next and on it goes

PUC workers deserve to be paid the wages they are getting but the city needs to stop spending money on frivolous stupid things.
