This layoff was all because of lack of steel from the blast furnace , takes time for different departments to get product to roll and ship.

Why would they want to go on strike with the present threats we have against us now? When Algoma Steel negotiated our last contract the steel plant was doing good and no threats as we have now , totally different today.

@jrenz the best strategy would have been for majority to not have voted in the orange guy , and now they will feel the downturn just as we will.

Much of Michigan voted in the tyrant and now they see the results , tarrifs are still on at 50% for steel and aluminum. I think she is doing the right thing by boycotting state side agendas and the rest of council should be doing the same.

@btz even if Trump did have a 56% approval rating ( which I don’t believe is at all accurate) , with the number of votes he got for the election don’t you think this 6 months into his role it should be enormously larger? He has no idea what it takes to run a country other than to yes no yes no yes no and in 2 weeks. He’s going to destroy the US economy.
