GuelphToday 12agreed - this piece is very concerning. police were called while the journalist was on site to remove a homeless woman for a three day ban after an “outburst”? as someone who has previously worked for an emergency shelter, i don’t think that i once called police to remove someone from site. and 92 service restrictions with an average ban of 2.18 nights equals TWO HUNDRED nights where people with nowhere else to go were turned away. i’m not sure if this piece was an attempt at accountability but i’m very alarmed and have a lot of questions.
