He's just rigging the market so his buddies can make a boatload shorting it.

Well yeah, all rackets/businesses tend to not like government intervention. It usually means a drop in profits for those at the top

Can't government focus on more pressing matters? These people need a reality check, they don't live in our world

The ban isn't working because the second a teacher so much as tries to hold a child accountable for their actions they risk losing their job and various lawsuits and noise from parents.Used to be when you got in trouble at school, your parents doubled down and supported the school's decision and grounded you at home too. Those days are long gone, we bred accountability out of society and now we're paying for it

Everyone speeds around the surrounding neighborhoods to avoid this camera monitored stretch on Belsyde, it's not just on Millburn. Not to mention ongoing construction on the major route that Highway 6 is just adds to the reckless driving that goes on especially among large transport trucks and the like who aren't used to the detours.Enforce the speed via camera during the day and especially when school is in session, not the rest of the time. Fergus is pretty much dead by 8pm anyway

Shame so many had to lose their jobs because this once-respected college turned diploma mill decided to get greedy and exploit international students like it was a license to print money.

Thats why you never change out your snow tires until Easter at least. Crazy storm every early April is practically a given

All part of the concerted effort to keep wages low since 2008. Government played like a fiddle by the rich every time

Maybe if the job market wasn't manipulated to be a one-way street the past decade, the cost of running a business AND paying reasonably wouldn't be so bad. When you have the price of everything except labour go up, this is what happens.Short term greed by large corporations unwilling to compromise will bury us all, sadly.

They became a threat when the people with the power to close them down realized they needed to create a little more job security for themselves :-)

cue the NIMBYs to fight it. Why is Canada so allergic to progress and building things?

"added vitamins" are the reason it can't be sold here but we allow trash from fast food places among other things...

Can we get rid of the tasmanian devil tornado logo already? the alternate jersey's circle logo is so much nicer

Force the parents to homeschool if they don't want to vaccinate and be part of society

it's not Canadian if it's not constant time wasted :-)

if you need a smartphone to be a communication lifeline/crutch then your social skills and confidence are severely lacking - probably because of the smartphone reliance. All fine and good I suppose but once you need to work for a living and interact with people in person, good luck!

Nothing like good old Canadian real estate to be a constant source of frustration and crooked ways.
