New subway deal to bring 240 new jobs to city

and when the job is done in 3-4 years, there will be 200 layoffs. Unless they get multiple contracts, this plant isn't a long-term career for most people and i think the general public in thunder bay has figured this out.

Disgusting act. Don't care what the persons issues are, take your dog outside to do that or face the consequences.

release the name or dont bother even publishing this nonsense.

not to be that guy, but i find it wild this plant only relies on sole sourced contracts for the past 10 years it seems.

south core is already embarrassing. the city has been ignoring it for years, while all money and developments have gone to the north core. interested to see what they do with extra money once the next phase of the waterfront development is completed and there's really nothing left to do in that area.

there was barely any snow that fell in the city, first time driving in the winter?
2
its the snow that will accumulate around the base of the bubble thats going to cause issues. it piles up real quick. they better have a contractor lined up to remove it, unlike the college for many years lol

So instead of paying rent, they can just continue to pitch a tent where ever they please and trash the area that surrounds them. got it.

rejoice, i am so sick of the people who have refused to purchase a garbage can to put their trash in and it gets picked apart by seagulls before 9 am each garbage day. my street has trash all over it and its the same useless people that don't bother to clean it up when they return home from work at the end of the day.

Putting transitional housing in one of the worst areas for crime and drug issues does not make a lot of sense to begin with. Not to mention the city was just trying to construct a homeless encampment here... setting these people up for failure much?
