35The mayor did not directly answer how much this cost. Nor how much it will cost now to maintain, especially should there be more vandalism. A tape and fence will not stop those who want to do what they want. Are they going to have security protecting it 24/7? Waste of time and tax payers money. There are more important concerns in this city right now. Whether you agree or disagree with the statue, this was not the process that should have been done.

OrilliaMatters 5Why did this article not mention that Bell, in what appeared to be a very distraught and perhaps threatening manner said she might get into a car crash after being told to leave?Bell has had opportunities to raise these things before with the proper process and she either chooses not to follow or plead ignorance. Much of her dialogue was incoherent. She cites research, but at every point this research was shown to either be incorrect or biased simply towards her opinion. She seems to be fighting for a select group of people. Likely her voting base. There are other taxpayers too. She seems to forget, she voted for the municipality sewer system changes to begin with. All this seems performative in a way to backtrack. She is campaigning clearly and hoping her supporters will vote for her again will see that although she voted for the thing they are not happy about, she is doing what she can to undo some things, while trying to cast doubt on everything with chaos.
