OrilliaMatters 2Volunteering for work which should be paid seems a bit on ridiculous side. Our property taxes continue to rise and facilities seem to stagnate. Beyond that, there is access to emergency funds which would allow for trained and competent workers to be hired by the town. The way the township workers are operating, they don't even use their backs, they have a machine and they stand there looking on... so you would like the public to volunteer for a job that you don't even let your municipal workers do?
